My wife was convicted on shoplifting misdemeanor charges(Amount was around $100) in Washington. We hired a creminal lawyer. The final result is that we compromised with store and paid the fine and the case was dismissed. We have final court documents with us. We know we need to put YES in DS-156. We need to go for her H4 VISA stamping. Now the question is what questions we would get from Consulate and What should we answer? What documents we should definetely carry with us to consulate office? What is the possibility of VISA rejection? Appreciate your help.
