DUI / RECKLESS DRIVING IMPLICATION on H1B Extension
I was charged with a DUI charge on 07/31/22 in michigan,US post which I moved to Canada as my US visa maxed out. I am currently working in canada on work permit visa. As per bond condition, I am taking breathalyzer tests starting september from canada via Portable mobile breathalyzer and have appeared for hearing through Zoom meetings. The DUI charge was reduced to Reckless driving on 01/04/23 and probation sentencing was given for 1 year to continue with the tests and counselling/education programs. I am planning to apply for H1B as my I-140 was approved last month. Can anyone let know if this will have any implication on my H1B petition or stamping due to this DUI/ reckless driving with the probation underway? Appreciate any help or guidance.
