Hi Folks,
Could someone please share his/her experience or know some information regarding the Tourist Visa for the information given below:
My wife, my daughter and myself are flying to India via Paris in May 2013. We reside in PA and I use to work on H1B but now I am working on EAD and my wife is working on H1B.We both are planning to enter in US on Advance Parole. Our EAD is valid till Mar 2014. SInce we will be staying in Paris for 4 days before flying to India, I am looking for some information regarding the Visa process for France.
1) Since we reside in PA, do we have to go to Washington DC French Consulate or can we go to New York?
2) We already have our tickets booked and will be booking the hotels pretty soon. Other than the print out of the air tickets + hotel stay do we need any thing else for the Visa interview? Esp proof of any travel insurance or something ?
3)Can we apply for the Visa via mail or do we have to appear in person ? Our daughter is a US Citizen so she doesnt need any visa I believe but can we take her to the Consulate during our Visa Interview ?
