I am really confused and looking for help here. My situation is described below:
I submitted AP-EAD renew application last December 2012, and got receipt.
In January 2013, I had to travel abroad. During my trip abroad, I got messages that AP-EAD renewal was approved and new card was mailed to my US home address a week ago.
I was back into US yesterday with current AP-EAD card, which will expire in the begenning of February.
Today I arrived at home, and saw the renew card in my mail box.
If you read below a section from form I-131 instruction, page 4, Do you think the renew card approval is valid or not ?
Page 4:
E. If you travel before the advance parole document is issued, your application will be considered abandoned if:
1. You depart the United States; or
2. The person seeking advance parole attempts to enter the United States before a decision is made on the application.
