Could having EAD prove to be adverse for visa issuance?

I am contemplating to apply for green card. At present working with a university as research asstt. My visa is about to be expired. My university took fresh approval for visa on the basis of that I will be working. In near future I am planning to go to India for some reasons and also to renew my visa. Therefore Please advise me whether having EAD can be problematic or should I apply for green card after hiving visa?

Having EAD does not cause problems in getting US visa.
