Expired H1 Visa, Valid i-94, AOS Pending, AP not arrived Yet- Can i travel abroad
I have an expired visa, but have a valid i-94-based on my h1b extension.
Early this year(jan 02, 2013) i applied for AOS by concurrent filing 1-485, i-131, i-765, i-130 since i am married to a US citizen.
I got the approval notice for both i-765 and i-131 and i gave the biometrics too.
I am planning to travel to india on may first week.
My Question is ,
1. if i dont receive AP by that time(ie before may 6), can i travel to india and go to chennai consulate for visa stamping.
2. If i do the above will this jeopardize my AOS.
Advises are highly appreciated.
