Hi.I'm filling the form I-765 and there is something that i'm not sure about.Question 11 in the form says "Have you ever before applied for employment authorization from USCIS?"
I came in the US with a H2B visa as a temporary worker.I did not apply for a work authorization myself but i assume my employer did.Can anyone please help me with this since i am not really sure what to answer.thank you.

H2B work authorization is not the same thing as EAD. Therefore, the answer would be No.

Urgent Help Needed on EAD Application.

Hi ,

I am presently on L1. My wife is here on L2 Visa. She wants to apply for EAD. We will be sending the Application tomorrow.
We do not have bank account here in USA. I wanted to know if I can send Cashier's Check from my friend's account with the application ? My friend has an account in Bank of America.

My Friend's name will be seen on the Cashier's Check. Is it accepted ?
The Bank Representative told me the Bank will write on Behalf of " My Wife's Name - Applicant Name " below U.S. Department of Homeland Security on the check.


Please advise. I have to send the Application tomorrow.
