Regarding Interim EAD
Hi
I am on L1-B and my wife on L2. We both have I-94 valid till Aug 2014.
We have applied for my wife EAD Renewal and already 90 days passed. Its still showing "Intial Review" status.
My wife employer is asking for a valid EAD card to be submitted before OCT 2nd 2013 (EAD Expiration Date).
We have scheduled an appointment with Local Field Office in LA to get an interim EAD and the appointment date is also OCT 2nd 2013.
1) Do we get the interim EAD immediately on the same date when we go for the appointment or even interim EAD also will take time?
We fear losing the job because of not having valid EAD.
2) Can we work even after the expiry date of EAD as the decision is still pending for the EAD Renewal.
