I have mistakenly interchanged my first and last name while filling I-765 form for renewal. Could you please advice what should i do to rectify this issue?
Can I fill another I-765 form and discard this one?

Any help will be highly appreciated!!

Hi, I did a similar mistake, selected wrong country of citizenship/nationality while filing my EAD renewal online. I noticed this error after submitting the form. Instead of selecting India , I selected USA. Please can anyone advise how to correct this issue? Thankyou so much.

Any one has any recommendation pls share we just made the same mistake and do not want to wait for 3 months to find out that we will be rejected.

Submit a new application

I did similar mistake, but as I do have little faith in our Service Centers and bad experiences in the past (delayed responses), I immediately submitted a new application with correct details. Now, I have two applications in process. When I received an RFE for the incorrect application, I called up service center to have my application cancelled. As the application cannot be withdrawn over the phone, they asked me to write a letter, attach the incorrect form copies, and then provide copies of correct name, which will be reviewed and withdrawn.

Important points:

1. USCIS/Service Centers do not refund amount of wrong application
2. Correction of form can be done by calling their toll free number (process is explained over the phone)
3. Review periods are 60 days

While you are dealing with mistakes of this application, sweet time will pass by. So better submit new application and work on withdrawing this application.
