Expedite request - Driving license expiry & economic loss

My DL expires end of this month, my EAD met with RFE, asking me to submit photos and copies of degrees. There hasn't been any movement ( neither soft or hard LUDs) for a month after the USCIS received the RFE response. Can I cite loss of driving losses and subsequent economic losses due to problem for commuting to work to open an expedite request ? Local DMV official told they can't renew license with any receipt notices (neither i485 nor H1b renewal pending i129 , which I would probably get by 1st week of Januray).
Please suggest as I am the only DL holder in my family. Thanks
