Hello all. Just wondering if someone can vuide me int he rigbt direction to find the info I'm looking for. I have alproved I-130 for my wife. I am military veteran and on 12/2013 submitted I-131 for pip according to new pip memo. We are progressing along with pip. We did biometrics and just received request for addifional evidence which we are preparing to send. My question is am I missing a step somewhere? What I mean is am I supposed to be also su mitting for adjustment of status right now or is that not relevant until I-131 approval. I ask because i notice folks in other forums threads mentioning adjustment of status alomg with pip. Like I said I have approved I-130. Also, I have alien and msc receipt number for pending I-131. Any tips, suggestions, links to pertinent informatio. Is greatly appreciated.

The I-131 for application to the PIP procedure should be approved before proceeding with the I-485, as an approved I-131 will be the legal basis for the Adjustment of Status.
