Extention of EAD

hi immi help
I am on L2 visa and got an EAD already which expires on Nov 15th 2005, my I 94 also expires on the same day. Now we have applied for the L2 extention and submitted on Sep 27th and waiting for the approval. My questions are

1. Can I submit my extention of EAD with the copy of receipt received for my L2 extention or should only apply with my new I-94
2. Can i take employement with this EAD and employer that i have submitted for the extention of EAD. In this case am i working legally here.
3. How long will it take for extention on L2 and EAD process.

Wishing some advice regarding this as i got opportunity to work.

1. You can submit the EAD application based on L2 extension receipt notice.
2. You can only work as long as your EAD is valid.
