    J2 EAD renewal without extended visa

    Hi,

    I am currently working on a J2 visa. Both my visa and the work authorization expire in January 2015. Here are my questions:
    1. Can I apply for EAD renewal without extending the visa?
    2. If not, is there any way of renewing the visa without exiting USA?
