how to expedite - AP application - minor dependent

hello,
had anyone been successful in getting a emergency AP for travel.
my minor dependent AP is still waiting for 2 months and we have a travel scheduled in a month..something cannot avoid..but doesnt fall under any criteria that USCIS had mentioned..primary had already received the green card.

please post your experience with getting the expedited AP at the USCIS center..
