Hi everyone. I have finally relieved my EAD (work permit) and already to start the process of job hunting and getting my Social Security Number in order to get my drivers license and start adding my name to my husbands paperwork as proof of residence.
My question is: what would be the correct thing to do for paperwork immigration purposes? When I request my SSN tomorrow should use maiden or married name? Everything else so far has Maiden name, but I've started to use my married name on paperwork such as job applications and certain accounts that I have. Is it a problem to have EAD and SSN with different names? Thanks!
