Expired EAD C18 Vietnam Order of Supervision
Hello I am a newbie here. Any helpful guidance is appreciated. I am on C18 Final Order of Removal to Vietnam. I am currently on Order of Supervision since 2011 and issued EAD. I have been sucessfully renewed EAD since, however, I neglected to renew it prior to the expiration date of Aug/22,2014. I cannot find my card. I realized I am in deep hole for working past the Aug date. I am currently without a job. I help my inlaws at a restaurant, in exchange, they let me n my wife live in their house. Can anyone help me with the following:
1) Since Vietnam is a non-deportation country; I have no ways of expecting deportation proceedings in the near future, nor can I attempt to have my status adjust, other than C18. Also, I have problems getting employed due to felony/parole restrictions. I have little means to support myself/family, thus spending $380/year to renew EAD, without any sucess of getting employ is very hard on me. I have been working with cash here n there, but it is not enough for me to survive, less the EAD renewal fees.
2) If I attempt to renew now, how can I justify the working period from Sept-Dec 2014? Will my prior employer be in trouble?
3) Should I renew it or wait a full year (at least Aug/2015), if I wait, what will happen when I try to renew? will they grant me EAD as new applicant?
