  • Help!! I'm in a really unique situation!

I'm sure all of you are aware that EAD's are going to be granted for certain spouses of H1-B holders (those whose I-140 has been approved). They are going to start accepting applications from May 26th. Now, here's my question. I was living in the US previously on H4 with my parents, and I got my EAD after nearly 10 years. Then I had to go back to India, cancel my EAD and greencard processing. Now I am married and back in the US, once again in H4. My husband has an approved I-140, which makes me eligible to apply for the EAD. There's a question in the I-765 form that asks whether I have ever applied for an EAD before. Should I answer yes or no?? If yes, they are also asking to attach supporting documents, of which I have none. So what should I do? Should I answer no?

Answer yes, attach an explanation letter why you do not have those documents.

You always must tell the truth otherwise everything goes wrong with uscis
