Anxious about travelling because of possibility of getting GC while I am outside US

Hi

I plan to travel from Mid May - Mid June. I have EAD/AP combo card.
But there is a possibility that GC priority date may get current in June and may get green card.
If such is the case, should I be in US while the Green Card is issued ?
