I was unable to find this elsewhere on internet and hence, posting this -
Me and my wife's latest entry to US in November 2014 on L1B and L2 respectively. Since, I had the visa validity till Feb 2015, got I-94 stamped as Feb-2015. I then applied L1B extension and got approved. And now i want to apply EAD for my wife.
So my current situation :
L1B Petition (After approval) date : Valid till Feb 2017
L2 for my wife : Valid till Feb 2017
I-94 (for me and my wife) : Feb 2015 (as per the last entry)
Question: Have a L1B and L2 validity till 2017 but I-94 has expired. Can I still apply for EAD for my wife? Or do we need to get stamping done with a valid I-94 by travelling outside us and then apply?
