It looks like USPS have lost my EAD/AP card - what do I do next?

My card was mailed out on Monday from MSC. It arrived at the sorting facility in New York (where i live) on Tuesday, but hasn't been delivered and there are no updates.
Should I wait and see if it shows up or try to prove USPS lost it and get a replacement? I'm so frustrated to be so close to having it and then it is missing
I am calling USPS but they haven't been very helpful so far - it seems like they have the same information I have tracking-wise.
