Please suggest : AP expiring Nov 11 and need to travel to India.
Hi All,
I have my EAD and AP expiring Nov 11,2015. And I have to travel to India from Oct 16th - Nov 9th. I will be returning 2 days before my AP expires. We have applied for EAD/AP extension on July 20th, 2015.
But today I read on a thread that for any reason like flight delay or something, I will not be able to enter back into US on or after Nov 11th, 2015 and my AP extension would be considered as abandoned.
Can some one please suggest if this is true?
1) If my EAD/AP extension gets approved before my travel, is it safe to go out of country with my current AP and return back into US with the approved AP?
2) If my EAD/AP extension doesn't gets approved before my travel, then what should I do??
Please suggest and I am really confused now.
