Hello everyone,
I have been trying to find a lot of forums but not able to find the exact situation I am in.
I have my EAD and AP valid till November 2016, my H1B Visa is valid till September 2017 but not stamped and my I-485 is "To be scheduled for an Interview". I am travelling to India in Jan 2016 so would appreciate if anyone can suggest if its ok for me to use AP for this trip or is it better if I get my Visa stamped and use that? A lot of blogs suggest its ok to travel on AP with the possibility of being taken to second validation check, which does not sounds like a major concern to me. My main concern/questions here are:
1. Is it ok to travel on AP or should I use my H1B and get it stamped?
2. Can travelling to India while I-485 is pending (waiting for Interview) negatively impact the GC in any way?
