Re Enter on AP

I came to U.S.A on H4 visa in Feb 2001 and lost my status after May 2001. I filed I-485 application as dependent along with my husband I-485 application in Jan 2003.

In Nov 2005, I received “Intend to Deny” notice for my I-485 application. I answered to notice with filing I-485 supplement A.

Now In emergency in need to travel outside U.S.A. I filed advance parole and received the approval of advance parole.

Please advice me whether if i travel with advance parole
1) Will be there any problems at port of entry while returning to U.S.A.
2) Will be there any problems with my I-485 application

I don't see any issue as long as u have approved valid AP.

Dahlia, you are wrong. Having valid AP does not necessarily mean that you will be allowed to re-enter the US, it is only safe to travel on valid AP if you were NEVER out of status in the US. Since in this situation the person was, with 99% certainty I can tell that he/she will not be allowed to re-enter at the border, even with the valid AP, but of course you can take that chance

Almost eevryone who applies for AP gets it. It doesnt mean one should us eit though. On the form itself it warn syou that if you were ever out of sttaus fo rmor ethan 180 days , then you may not be allowed to reenter.
