Hello All
I would like to take this opportunity to post my EAD experience. Hope this helps the ones who are going through this process right now.
Total number of days:
- Based on Received Date: 71 days
- Based on Notice Date: 69 days
Dates are as follows:
- 6th Oct 2015: Received Date
- 8th Oct 2015: Notice Date
- 9th Dec 2015: Status on web account "New card is being produced"
- 9th Dec 2015: Status on web account "Case was approved"
- 11th Dec 2015: Status on web account "Card was mailed to me"
- 12th Dec 2015: Received my approval notice though mail
- 16th Dec 2015: Status on web account "Card was delivered to me by the post office"
Few points to note -
- Process was with California Service Center
- Filed as paper work
- Had no bio-metrics
- Created my account in egov.uscis.gov, added my case to it, updated for email and phone updates
- Did not talk to the customer service executive at any instance
- Tracking numbers was given with the status "Card was delivered to me by the post office" i.e its after the card was delivered
Lastly, thanks to all those who have posted their experiences in multiple forums that helped me to stay calm though my process.
