  • EAD expired working on federal agency (help!!)

Hi, Does anyone had a similar case? I am desperate.

I work for the US government since 2013 as a contractor in a federal agency. I confused the date to renew my EAD and when I was going to send the application for the new EAD I realized that I work 1 month with my work permit expired. I noticed it to them. Nobody in my work told me about it even it is federal. Is it legal?

I sent the form I-765 at the end of October to Texas Service Center. I will come back to work at the same place, but they didn´t give me a cover letter explaining what happened and their intentions to hire me again, for legal reasons?? They could not do it was the reason.

Since that day I am not working, almost 70 days now, and I wasn´t paid for the month I worked with my EAD expired. Anyone had a similar experience to help me?

I asked for two expedite process according to economic circumstances but both of them where denied. In one of my several calls to USCIS phone the recognized they haven´t processed my alien number, even if they have it since 2013 and it was on the form.

I have made bio-metrics in November and asked like five times USCIS if as a contractor of US government is anything more I can do to have my EAD.
Any legal or experience help of you?

You were working without legal authorization. Please tell us your original entry visa category, and if you are currently processing a Permanent Resident application.

I had a E2 Visa as a spouse of my wife. She is the holder of this investor visa. At this moment I am still not applying for the Green Card. I hope to do it very soon...
