emergent help on AP!!

Hi, my advance parole (with I-485 pending) was from Nov. 2, 2004 to Nov. 2, 2005. I traveled twice last year, and after the last trip, the INS officer stamped my AP with a date July 7, 2006. Anybody knows what that means? (I did not get any expanation from the INS officer.) I just heard something scary. Some people told me that my AP had been expired, and that means I have automatically abandoned my application for a green card. Is this true?

U will be considered abandoning ur application only if u leave USA before the approval of ur AP. As long u didn't do that, u are fine. AP is used only for travelling.
