L2 EAD validity if L1 petition changes

Hi,

My husband is on Blanket-L1 and I am on L2 and had EAD. Now we are planning to go on vacation to India during Jun 2006. L1 petition needs to be changed (because petition is older than 6 months) and get re-stamped during visit to India.

Once we come back, Can I use my older EAD (it is valid till Jun 2007) to work or do I need to apply for new EAD?
