EAD and AP

We submitted both EAD and AP applications along with our I 485 AOS on 24th Nov 2015. Only yesterday Feb 29, 2016, the online status indicated that our EAD was approved and they will be mailing the notice. But the status of Travel Document I-131 is not updated and still shows Case was received. When I contacted our immigration services office, they told me that when EAD is approved , automatically we will be getting a combo card for both EAD/ AP, even though the status for Travel document is not updated. But when I called up USCIS Customer center they do not want to send a service request , since there is some delay in travel Document approvals and they are on October filings. I do not know which one is correct.

I just want to know from our forum group, whether the above is true that a combo card will be issued for both even though the case status on AP travel document is not updated. Is any one has the same issue like ours ?

That is true

Yes that is true, if you have applied for both and the work permit were approved, you should be receiving your card with the note "Serves as I-512 Advance Parole" at the bottom part. Please keep in mind that advance parole is not a re entry permit.

I thank you so much for your valuable advice. By chance do you have any idea as to how much time it takes to receive the combo card. As on today's status it still shows that "We will be mailing the notice", and there is no update either for ESD I-765 or for AP I-131 which shows still that "Case was received". I am totally confused with these versions. I would be happy If I could be educated. Tks

Feel free and happy to go overseas without any nightmare or headache, . Legally the uscis can not stop you to come back if you have no record of crime and have a valid advance parole
based on..... the matter of Arrabally and Yerrabelly.
There is a regulation that allow you to return to USA , that regulation have been posted on November 20, 2014 in homeland security, you can call a lawyer and show that matter to allow you to came back without any problem you can check the link
