Travel during AP renew process

Hello everyone,

I have to travel for few months from Sep/15, worried if I can come back to US in following condition.

My current AP expires on Sep/29. However, my AP renewal is still pending (assuming I can get renewed AP in October).

There is in-continuity between my current AP and renewed AP.

Point is that I will be traveling during the in-continuity, leave with valid current AP and back with valid renewed AP.

Is there anyone in this kind of situation?
