I am working on L2 EAD in USA my visa,I94 and EAD expires in Jan 2017. My spouse I94 expires in June 2017. My spouse is travelling to india for L1 extension in December 2016 assuming he will get extension and my spouse I94 will be extended for 2 more years. Now I have 2 options for my I94 and EAD extension.
1) I also travel with him and get L2 and I94 extension in December 2016 and apply for EAD extension in December 2016 which I might get in March 2017 (typically takes 3 months).
2) I apply for I94 extension and EAD extension now based on his I94 (up to June 2017). I don't now how much time will it take. I heard that process will be in serial and first I should get I94 extension and than EAD extension. Which will also be valid until June so need to process again?
So I am more inclined towards step 1. Is there any better option available ???
