  • Traveling on advance parole/ waiting for AOS interview

    Hello,

Is there a way that you can notify USCIS for not scheduling you for an adjustment of status interview when you are outside the country on your Advance Parole? or Is there a procedure to let them know about your upcoming travel plans when you have multiple advance parole and you haven't got your interview yet!

You guidance will be much appreciated

I don't know that you can do that but you can consider authorizing someone you trust to check your mailbox while you are gone. Have the person check for mail from USCIS and notify you if you've been scheduled for an interview. If that happens, you can then call USCIS to reschedule. You can call USCIS ahead of time to see if there are rules/restrictions as regards to rescheduling an interview. What you don't want to do is pull a no show at the interview.

Set up notification on your email to receive update from USCIS so when they send interview request,u ll know. Have someone that you trust to receive the mail and take a picture. Reschedule it or try to make it back before the date depends on you. You dont need to notify them and tell them to hold off. Just make sure you check your case status often, set up notification and reschedule accordingly
