Do I lose my H-1 status if I enter on Advanced Parole

Hi,

I would appreciate comments on the following situation:

I have a valid H-1 status until 09/08. My visa stamp has expired. I am applying for adjustement of status (I-140) and an advanced parole (I-765) through concurrent filing.

Question: Will I lose my H status if I enter the U.S. on the advanced parole?
I assume that I will not have used employment authorization by that time.

Please rpely if you know the answer and please mention whether you know it based on your or your friend's personal experience, through a lawyer, or just think so.
