RFE for EAD application

Hi,

My lawyer filed my I-140 (went to Nebraska center) and my wife's I-765 (Processing in Vermont center) for EAD together. We got a RFE for I-765 which asked us to submit approval of I-140 BUT I am still waiting for I-140 to get approved.

What should I do now? Anyone is having the same issue? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I'll send in the I-140 receipt notice. They wouldn't approve the EAD until the I-140 is approved, but at least they should it's pending. What did your lawyer say?
