EAD/AP Renewal

I have a very unique case.
I had to quit my job about 6-7 months back and sit at home due to a health issue which prevents me from working. I got my EAD in early 2012 and have renewed it twice since. I am about to apply for the third renewal, will my current predicament (out of job) be an issue?

No. EAD is not contingent upon having a job offer. It merely states that you are authorized to work, should you choose to do so.
