Hi All,
I had an EAD (when my spouse was on L1 VISA) which was valid for the years 2008-2009. Since 2009 end I am on H4 and never had an EAD again. My SSN was issued on 2008.
Now I am filling the EAD application in Liu of an approved I-140. There is a question in the EAD Application which is given below:
"Have you ever before applied for employment authorization ?" If YES - provide details of application and provide attachments.
As mentioned before my EAD was expired in 2009. I lost my expired EAD card and or do not remember any details about that.
Could you please guide me how to answer the above question.
Should I answer I had EAD for 2008-2009 and include a self declaration saying I do not have details of expired EAD.
OR
Should I say i never had EAD before
OR
Something else?
