L2 EAD extension based on L1 i94

Hi,

I am Sridhar, my dependent currently in India, and she would be reaching US on June-2017.
Her L2 EAD expires on 2-Sep-2017, i am planning to apply EAD extension after few months.

Whether can i apply now or i can apply only after she arrives to US ?
If i apply EAD, considering the below L1/L2 visa and i94 details, how long they will provide the new L2 EAD. Please let me know if Visa end date would be an issue for this ?

L1 Visa expires:17-Dec-2017
L1 i94 end date: 9-Jan-2020

L2 i94: 9-June-2018
L2 EAD valid from: 3-Sep-2015
L2 EAD expires: 2-Sep-2017
L2 Visa expiry: 17-Dec-2017
