  • EAD wait time and SR

    Hi

I filed AOS NOV21 got NOA for i485 (under 245i), I-765 and I-131 on 23RD. Did bio appt on DEC23RD.
FEB4 will be 75 days. FEB19 will be 90. Should I submit online SR after 75 for EAD/AP? Or is it only for expedited EADs where employment letter and/or financial hardship proof is required ? Also should it be done online or via phone? Thanks

You can submit a service request for normal EAD too, after 75 days, either by phone or online.

thanks scientist2016. not sure if i should post another thread regarding this questions. i overstayed and read on the forums that even with EAD/AP combo it's risky to travel ? (Matter of Arrabally was about this and rules it's safe to travel while on AP with overstay). Also if USCIS received my I485 does that mean it's pending ?

Yes the matter of Arabally specifically addresses this, and it should be ok to travel on AP. Yes, receipt of I485 petition does mean it is pending, and hence the issuance of AP.

            Ead combo and travel

Hi guys I just receive my EAD Combo it says at the bottom "SERVES AS I-512 ADVANCE PAROLE" my I-485 is pending the status is "ready to be schedule for an interview" so now i have a few questions I m in the US for more than 6 month i came here as a Tourist i wanna know if i travel for 1 week will i be able to come back ? What is the scenario at CBP "airport" ? is it safe to travel while my I-485 is pending ? is there a way that guarantee my reentry?

There is no "guarantee" for entry for any non-US citizen; it is all at the discretion of CBP. However, the purpose of AP is for you to be able to travel outside the US while your I485 is being processed. So you should be good to travel.
