Hi All,
My wife and I recently relocated to the US on an L1B & L2 visa. We submitted the i-765 for my wife's EAD (she's on the L2). We got notification that the case was received a few days after we posted it (Feb 20th). We recently moved into a new house in the US so provided the updated address to USCIS. The status of the case is now at 'Your New Card is being Produced' (since March 31st). We didn't get any approval notification - it was only when I checked online that I noticed the update.
I presume this updated status is a step in the right direction? If the card is being produced, I assume this implies the case has been approved? How long does it typically take until the card is mailed out once it has reached the 'being produced' status?
Also, there has been no mention of having to schedule a biometrics appointment. I presume my wife is not required to schedule a biometrics screening?
