  • Anyone else waiting this long for your EAD/AP?

just wanted to know if anyone else is experiencing similar wait time as I am--I sent in my applications for concurrent filing on December 22, 2016, and have completed my fingerprints biometrics on January 31. I know it went to NBC for processing, but so far I haven't heard anything else back.

It's been almost 4 months. I'm desperately waiting for the AP so that I can travel outside of the U.S.

I think it's me. My PD is 14/ December, 2016 and I do not see any update for my status.
I have a REF but I replied back in Febuary.

DON'T Quote me on it but I heard from a little bird that USCIS is holding back all the advance parole longer than usual. I think this has something to do with the fact that people can adjust status if granted and President Trump is not happy about that

          Hi all,

Today I called USCIS office to ask about my case, which has been pending for more than 90 days, what they told me is that my office (NBC) is working on cases from December 3rd, so I'll have to wait longer so they can get to my PD in Feb 6. It's so frustrating how long they are taking, I was expecting to have this approved by this time and now they say to wait two months more...

          Feb 6 -PD
          Mar 9 - RFE
          Mar 19 - Answer RFE
          Mar 22 - Biometrics
Nothing since then, just my I485 changed to "Case is ready for schedule an interview" a month ago.

          Anyone else with similar PD?

          I'm applying from NY.

If you have an immigration lawyer, I'm sure the Lawyer will send an e-request of your EAD. An e-request can only be sent on the 75th day from your application date. My Lawyer sent the e-request last monday and today I got a text and email from USCIS that they have requested my new EAD card and will mail to my address. Which I am so glad.

If you don't have a Lawyer, search about e-request.

            Hopefully that helps.
