AP through marriage but also have asylum application pending

Hi everyone, I posted also in experiences thread but seems like this is more active.

My situation is that I got approved for emergency AP (my mom passed away) based on marriage but I also have pending asylum since 2015. I am flying tonight to my country that I fear persecution and will stay 3 weeks. Will that put me on jeopardy, anyone has any experience, please share.

My lawyer said I should not have any problem and I should bring all the proper documents, hospital, death certificate etc etc.

You do not need to worry about jeopardizing your asylum application if you can already adjust your status on some other basis

Just a quick update.

I came back today and had no issue whatsoever...everything went very well <3
