EAD Through GC

Hi all,
I am currently working on OPT expiring JULY 11 2017. I got married to a US citizen and filed I 485, I 130 & I 765 on March 27th.
I am concerned about my eligibility to continue working as i have not still received any update on my EAD.
My questions is would i still be eligible to work after my current OPT expires if i don't receive my EAD through GC application?

Someone with a pending I-485 can stay in the US for as long as it is pending.

I just called USCIS and submitted any enquiry, hopefully it will get me some answers on the EAD status.
I wonder what could be the possible reason for EAD not being approved, is there a possibility that EAD does not get approved before GC interview? I did my bio-metrics on May 1st.

I guess it is but i have gotten EAD before and it did not take more than 65-70 days. I am sure i will get the EAD sooner or later my only concern is not being able to get it before my current OPT expires.

Hey everyone,
Just to update march 2017 filers
here is my timeline

March 27th- sent I 485, I 130 & I 765 by mail
April 11th- received I 797 stating docs received and case in progress
May 1st- bi metrics

No EAD or GC interview schedule yet.

They are very backlogged these days and everything is taking as long to process as the max acceptable processing times

Make an infopass appointment now for day 91 then go to your Field Office to demand an I-766 stamp in your passport

That sounds very useful, do you mind explaining what I-766 stamp will do?
Also i received an email form the inquiry today stating my case is under review. What does that even mean?
