EAD/ADVANCE PAROLE recently issued

Hi, I have not been back to my home country (Mexico) in 18 years and I received my EAD/Advance parole card two weeks ago. I have a couple days off this upcoming week and was thinking of driving with my spouse (US citizen) to Mexico. I am nervous but want to take the opportunity to go back now that I can, however I am currently on probation for a traffic misdemeanor, lawyer says it should be fine but I am afraid of taking the risk. Has anyone traveled with a misdemeanor/on probation?
