  • SR reply for my pending EAD

    Hi All,

I applied for my L2 EAD renewal, my PD is Apr-11

I raised SR on the 75th day and the below is the reply i received:

We have received your service request and researched the status of your case. We have had to perform additional review and this has caused a delay in processing time. Your case is currently in line for processing and adjudication. Cases are processed in the order in which they were received.

What does the above reply from USCIS mean? What are the possible delays with such a status? and Can i raise another SR on the 90th day mark?

Any advice on the above questions would be highly appreciated

    TIA

    Hi there,

How and when did you get your response to the SR?I'm asking because I never got my response. I am kind of in the same boat. I raised SR on the 98th day and was told I'd receive a response in 5 days. Got case history update that the request was processed and a response was sent. But never got the response. Called up USCIS and they say to wait 30 days for the response because there's nothing they can do until 30 days has passed...

So the answer to your answer is probably no. You should raise another SR after 30 days.

There is a huge backlog...they are not even answering SRs...actually, I believe that people should wait a little...they have a backlog - fact, it is taking longer - fact, we all need the EAD - fact...but creating more and more requests does not help the people to make the things move forward. Be prepared for 100 days wait and you will be happy to get some news before that...it will control the anxiety!

I've waited for over 100 days and my current EAD will expire soon...
