EAD Renewal Visa J2 California 90 days

Hello everyone,

My first EAD expired on June 30th, 2017. And thus my employer and I are waiting for my renewal to be back at work.

I have applied for my second EAD (renewal) in April, as soon as I received all the necessary document to do so.
I have a J2 visa, live in Los Angeles and so I sent my application to USCIS Phoenix Office.

USCIS received my application on April 17th, 2017. They cashed out my filling fee (check) on April 20th.

I received my application receipt (form I-797) by May 1st (don't recall the exact date).

Since then I have no news...I called USCIS phone number on July 3rd, 2017 and opened a Service Request.

We are now 3 days away from the 90 regular process days, and my online status still says "Case Received"...
Nothing has been requested. No fingerprints, no initial/aditional evidence, nothing...

Can somebody help me out please? Do you know what is the current process time for Phoenix office?

Phoenix office does not take care of EAD. (I just found from here: https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/processTimesDisplayInit.do )

Check your receipt number, and check the first three alphabet. Found your office and check the processing time. I'm also waiting for EAD (not a renewal) but it takes wayyy to long. It is day 125 to me...

Thanks yellowwings for your answer.

My receipt number starts with YSC, so I guess it means POTOMAC in my case (according to your website).

But how much credit should we give that website? How do they know what case are being taking care of? I called an immigration officer who could not tell. He told me to wait for the service request answer to know more.

And just to double check : It says "Field Office Processing Dates for Potomac Service Center as of: May 31, 2017" at the top and "I-765 --> Application for Employment Authorization Based on a request by a qualified F-1 academic student. [(c)(3)] -->February 21, 2017" is the row that correspond to I765. But the website has been updated on July 12, 2017.

What do you understand? Do you understand that in May 31, 2017 they were treating cases from February 21, 2017? Is that what it means? Even though the website update date is June 12, 2017?
Plus I am not really a c3 category...I am a c5??

If you could clarify those point for me please.
