EAD without AP ???

so i got case status update that new card is being produced, but for EAD only...
i applied for AP also and on that case there is no changes...
any experience with that?
should i call USCIS again or ?

I have seen several cases wherein the status for AP did not change, but the EAD card received was a combo card as-usual. So I would say wait till you receive your card. It is most likely going to be a combo card.
