Although i applied in February 2017(Atlanta), uscis requested initial information which i didn't receive/reply until May 4. (meaning my clock starts all over again- agreed). However, today makes it 83 days since they received d evidence. I filed SR on day 76 and i was told to wait additional 30 days from day 76 which means i have to wait beyond their 90 days timeline until day 106 before i complain. is this normal or is there something i need to know guys. pls share

Today is day 91. I called to follow up on my SR and was told my case pending security checks and until that is complete they cannot move forward.I dont know how long that process takes but from what i have read from others , it could be as long as a couple of months to over a year. the wait is getting frustrating considering that my original PD was since february 2017.
