Im not sure if this is the right place for this post but since i didnt see one for DACA i wanted to know if anyone who applied through DACA received their EAD? I applied for an I821D and I765 together and I still have not received notice that my 821D has been approved. It's been 111 days so far. In order for them to process my EAD, DACA has to be approved first. I have called customer service numerous times but unfortunately DACA cases cannot be expedited. I have been out of work since my previous EAD expired on 6-15-17. I've tried to explain to them that I'm facing a financial hardship since I've got no income but I've only been told that they are sorry for any inconveniences.
Uscis (Nebraska service center) received my application on 4-20-17
Biometrics done 5-8-17
Infopass 6-12-17
Ombudsman request 7-6-17
SR 7-10-17..have not gotten a response
Ombudsman request closed because case was within normal processing time 7-12-17
2nd SR 8-4-17...106 days no response yet
2nd ombudsman request 8-8-17 no response yet
Emailed senator 8-8-17 no response
I've heard that Nebraska is taking forever, but this is just ridiculous. The website says that they are working on cases from Dec 2nd. With all the news about states threatening to end DACA on Sept 5th I'm starting to get very worried. If anyone out there has a case similar to mine please let me know if your case was approved yet. I've never had to wait this long for a renewal and it's driving me crazy. I just want to get back to work.
