  • I called USCIS for advance parole (National Benefit Center)

Today, I called USCIS for my i-131 pending.
Even if I filed on May 9, 2017, they said it is in normal processing time.
National Benefit Center is working on April 2017 or earlier, so it is going to take long time for May filer.
It is so hard to wait until I get EAD and Ap....

At least i see someone else waiting just like me. I filed July 18th and did biometrics August 9th. The wait is killing and the anxiety is killing too.
Am checking my apartment mailbox like a crazy person..every text or email notification that comes on my phone i always wish its USCIS before i open my messages Lol..All the best to all of us waiting.

Did they tell you that they are working on April 2017 or earlier filings. It does say April on the website but that was as of June 30th so I think that they are already working on may 17 applications. If you look at the tracker on this website some early may applications have received their ead. I live in hope that is the case anyway. I filed on may 12th for aos /ead/ap and my h1b visa expires in 4 weeks. So I'm hoping I get the ead before that😳

I said exactly what you said above but, when I called USCIS, she said National Benefit Center was working on April 1st or earlier...
I hope she is wrong and they are working on May applications.
My filing date is May 9 2017, but I do not get ant EAD/AP yet.

They tell you what the webpage says, they don't tell you information that they know. May people are already getting their cards so they are not working still on April (there might be cases from April) but they are ahead than that.
