EAD I-765 card wait

Dear all,

One of my friend received a approval notice for an EAD. Notice also mentions 'Your card is ordered and you will receive it as soon as it is ready'.

My friend applied at California INS, any idea/experience of the 'Card waiting time' particularly at California INS.

hey samir123, sorry I can't tell you anything about the wait time however i would like you to tell me about your experience? When did your friend apply for the EAD and when did he get that notice. I am trying to workout how long it takes. They received my application march 22 and i went for a biometrics recently however i still haven't gotten an approval notice.

please tell me what time frame i am looking at based on your experience.

processing after biometrics?

could you pls tell me whether the processing will be done after getting an appointment for biometrics or just processing is done once it is paid?
