2017 EAD Journey

Hi All,

I found this forum really useful while waiting for my I-765 (EAD) to be processed so I thought I would share my experience in hopes that it could provide insight for someone else.

My EAD application was sent in conjunction with my I-485 and was sent to MSC.

08/08/2017: Application Received
09/07/2017: Biometrics Appointment
09/08/2017: Request for initial evidence (I-485)
09/25/2017: Initial evidence received (I-485)
10/26/2017: New Card Being produced
10/27/2017: Application for Employment Authorization approved
10/31/2017: You card was mailed
11/03/2017: Card received!!!

Total number of days: 87 days

Wow, that's AMAZING, and sounds incredibly lucky. My PD is the same as yours and it went to MSC (or NBC) as well. However, I have no news other than "Case Was Received." And I didn't even receive and RFE. Kinda freaking out, I was supposed to travel at the end of this month for two diff very important weddings Hoping for a miracle.
